AL HABIB PUBLIC SCHOOL PATKAILI PURNEA BIHAR
Al-Habib Public School, Bhawanipur, Patkeli, District Purnia, Bihar
This is an educational institution that serves as a bridge between religious and modern education. Here, students are taught Noorani Qaida, Nazra Quran, and Hifz-ul-Quran alongside contemporary education. The institution initially started as a small Maktab, but within a short period, many students have successfully completed the memorization of the Holy Quran and have also achieved excellent results in the Bihar Board Matriculation Examination.
This institution is located in a village where the majority of the population belongs to the labor class. Due to financial constraints, most parents engage their children in labor at an early age, depriving them of both religious and basic secular education. In such an environment, the need was felt for an institution where children from poor working-class Muslim families could receive both Islamic and contemporary education.
To fulfill this need, the institution was established in the form of a small hut. Currently, 500 students (both boys and girls) are enrolled. However, due to the lack of a permanent school building and limited space, students face extreme difficulties in summer, winter, and the rainy season. Additionally, many students have to be turned away due to space constraints.
Institutional Needs:
1. Construction of an Educational Building:
Classrooms, Library, Science Lab, Computer Lab, Conference Hall, Office, etc.
2. Construction of a Hostel Building:
Accommodation facility for at least 200 students.
3. Darul Quran (Quran Memorization Center):
A hall with ten classrooms dedicated to Quran memorization. This institution is playing a vital role in shaping the future of underprivileged children. Support and cooperation are needed to ensure the construction of necessary infrastructure and the continuation of quality education.
